Office 2010 – some great tips from Microsoft

Ever wonder what Office 2010 is all about? With so many companies now starting to upgrade, we’ve seen a surge in interest with everyone asking why they should change. It is my personal experience, Office 2010 wasn’t necessary at first. Now I have had the opportunity to start using it full-time and put it through its paces. There are two components I use often – Outlook and OneNote. Both offer big changes. One great tool with OneNote 2010 is the ability to web-sync your notebooks and access them on your smartphone! The iPhone app is free and works! If you have the original iPhone OneNote app, make sure you have downloaded the update. It has solved the slow sync issues first experienced by users.

In addition, I have now become a fan of all the office components and am continually learning about new features and capabilities. I’m only listing a couple here and will post more if they become cool or must know tips. Checkout the entire Microsoft Office blog for helpful hints.

Here’s a great PowerpPoint tip for putting movies into your PowerPoint presentation:

Here are some great templates for using Access to organize your office – did you know you can insert files into fields using the new access data stucture?
